Keyshia Cole - Take Me Away (Music Video!)
R&B singer Keyshia Cole has finally premiered the videoclip for "Take Me Away", the third single from her latest studio effort "Calling All Hearts" - The Chink Santana-produced cut has only managed to peak at #27 so far on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and me don't think this (blah) clip will help much. It's very boring. I like the song though! It's sad how this new Keyshia era isn't performing as desired. The LP "Calling All Hearts" debuted last December at a disappointing #9 in the US, and counting these almost five months, the set hasn't hit the gold status yet. Will "Take Me Away" change something? I don't think so. But I'm happy one of my favorites on that album got single and video treatment. Peep the TAJ-directed visual above.

The Ready Set - Young Forever (Music Video!)
The Ready Set, aka Jordan Mark Witzigreuter from Indiana, USA, has finally premiered the official music video for his latest single, the ultra catchy and club-ready, "Young Forever" - Unlike his prevous stuff, the new single features a great dose of dance and techno elements that I'm absolutely loving! "Young Forever" is pop heaven! lol. The song is like a male version of a Ke$ha single. "Young Forever" was officialy released in the states on March 8th, and I'm counting on it to chart decently on the charts there. It's got huge potential, if promoted correctly! As for the single's music video, it's okay. I really don't get the 'rock band' performance scenes. Young Forever's DNA is 98% synthesized pop, and let's not forget of the auto-tune. Anyways, not hating! Just stating the truth. The music video should have a been something in the line of the 'Like A G6' visual, with a party/club theme IMO.

Is that you gurning in Friendly Fires' new video?
Are you one of the old ravers chewing off your face in Live Those Days Tonight (Back to '89 Rave Montage)? If so, get in touch!
There's quite a thing for hardcore nostalgia in the music video world right now. Chase and Status made old ravers weep with their Blind Faith video ? an affectionate recreation of an, er, "enhanced" night out with your bezzies. Now Friendly Fires have been combing YouTube for old rave footage ? lots of people dancing wildly while biting their own cheeks and managing to rotate their eyeballs back into their skull. Live Those Days Tonight (Back to '89 Rave Montage) is a collage of their favourite clips and is both touching, hilarious and a little scary.
So consider this a shout out to all the ageing ravers out there ? are you dancing in this video? Is that you looking unfit to be driving the motor vehicle you're sat in? And if so, how are you still alive? Do tell us, but, er, probably don't tell your boss.

HeavyFeet vs. Raze - All I Want (free download)
If you were feeling the Sawdust & Sultanas EP we released with Plant Music in Autumn of last year, then chances are you'll be feeling 'All I Want'. It's a bit more bassline driven, so go figure, but we certainly reckon that most people who enjoyed that release will snap this one up, especially as it's free-to-download from Soundcloud.

Sony Music News | Global Stars Helping Haiti
The single is available to download from February 7th, and in stores on CD from February 8th. All proceeds will be split 50/50 between DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) and The Sun newspaper's 'Helping Haiti' appeal. Prime Minister Gordon Brown has pledged to waive VAT on the single. The Haitian earthquake, which occurred on 12th January 2010 measuring a catastrophic 7.0 on the richter scale, is already estimated to have caused the deaths of over 250,000 people. 250,000 are in need of urgent aid and more than 2 million people are estimated homeless and in need of long term support to help rebuild their lives.
To donate directly to the DEC appeal, visit dec.org.uk. The CD single can be pre-ordered from Play.com, Amazon and HMV. You can hear a clip of the song on the websites of several of the artists involved, e.g. alexandraburkeofficial.com.
Simon Cowell, who is organizing the recording and release of the record for Haiti said: "We have a short time to do this but already we are getting some fantastic support. Right now this is an absolute priority for us all, the people of Haiti need as much help as we can give them as soon as possible, every day the situation becomes more desperate."
Robbie Williams said: "I'm very honoured to be asked to contribute to the single. We can all do something to help the people of Haiti - and I urge everyone to do what they can."
Mariah Carey said: "When Simon Cowell approached me to take part in the charity single for Haiti I had absolutely no hesitation and I said yes instantly. Obviously we are all extremely saddened to see the pain and the hurt of the people of Haiti and I feel grateful as an artist to be able to help. I hope 'Everybody Hurts' helps to raise a very large amount of funds so the people of Haiti can rebuild their shattered lives. My heart goes out to every single person that has suffered and been affected by this tragedy."
Cheryl Cole said "It's heartbreaking to see what is happening in Haiti. Hopefully the money from Everybody Hurts will help the people of Haiti rebuild their lives."
JLS star Ortise Williams, who lost relatives in the quake said: "The tragedy is very close to my heart."We hope to raise as much money as possible. It's great to be working with such talented artists, all pulling together to make a difference through song."
Alexandra Burke said: "It's truly devastating what has happened in Haiti and if I can help in anyway then I will. This song will bring awareness to the suffering of the innocent people of Haiti and help them rebuild their lives and homes. When these natural disasters occur, we have to work together to make a difference. Please support us"
Kylie Minogue said: "My heart goes out to all those affected in Haiti - the loss they have suffered is incomprehensible. I'm honoured to be part of this project knowing funds will be delivered to the source."
Rod Stewart said: I can't think of a more fitting song than 'Everybody Hurts' to convey the unimaginable tragedy that is Haiti. I hope the record sales raise a lot of money because the country certainly needs it.
James Morrison said: "I'm so proud and honoured to be part of something so huge, which can hopefully go some way towards helping the poor people who are suffering in Haiti.
Joe McElderry said: "It's an honour to be a part of the Haiti charity single. It's truly devastating what has happened over there and I want to do anything I can to help and raise money. It's great to be apart of such an amazing line up who have all taken time out of their schedule to help with this tragic cause"
Susan Boyle said: "The Haiti earthquake has caused devastation and suffering that most of us will never experience nor could imagine. I feel privileged to be a part of such a wonderful project that will raise money to help the country."
Disasters Emergency Committee, Chief Executive Brendan Gormley said: "We are absolutely delighted to help those recording, producing and buying this charity single make a difference in Haiti. More and more water, food, household items and medical supplies are getting through to the earthquake survivors. Buying the charity single will greatly aid our work and help us work with survivors in Haiti to rebuild new lives from the ruins."

Sony Music News | Sony Music Entertainment and Simon Cowell launch new global venture: Syco
The new venture will own all of the existing Syco television and music assets, which include the global TV franchises 'The X Factor' and 'Got Talent', as well as superstar artists such as Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle and Il Divo. The new venture, which will continue to use the 'Syco' name, will be co-owned by Sony Music and a Simon Cowell-owned company. Syco will be based in London and will also have offices in Los Angeles.
As the first project under the new Syco banner, Fox Television announced (on January 11th) that it will launch the U.S. version of the worldwide hit TV show, The X Factor, in the fall of 2011. Cowell will serve as both executive producer and judge on the U.S. version of the show.
The X Factor is a Syco-owned television format, which currently airs in 17 countries and has been the #1 UK entertainment show for the last three years, reaching record UK audiences in 2009 of 20 million with 60% audience share. The X Factor is the No.1 music- entertainment format in Europe.
In addition to The X Factor, Syco is also the owner of the Got Talent TV format which currently airs in 27 countries and is the UK's most successful TV format export. In 2009, 'Britain's Got Talent' launched the global music career of Susan Boyle, whose debut album, I Dreamed A Dream, sold over 8 million albums in six weeks, making it the world's biggest selling album of 2009 and the fastest selling album in history.
Syco is also the record label home for such diverse international recording stars as Leona Lewis and Il Divo. Cowell has worked with artists selling more than 180 million albums and delivered more than 150 No.1 records. In 2009, Cowell was named No. 1 in Hollywood Reporter's Top 50 Most Powerful in Reality TV and one of Entertainment Weekly's Top Entertainers of the Year.
"I have had a fantastic relationship with Sony for many years and I'm delighted we are launching this venture together," Cowell said.
"Over the past 20 years, Simon Cowell has been a great partner and is an integral part of the Sony Music global family. We are extremely excited to be able to continue and further develop our relationship with Simon, and significantly grow the Syco venture," said Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, CEO, Sony Music Entertainment.
"Simon Cowell is one of the most prominent and successful creative music and television executives in the entertainment business today. This new venture will allow Sony Music and all Sony divisions to develop and pursue a host of new opportunities with this supremely talented individual," said Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman, CEO and President, Sony Corporation.
"I am absolutely delighted that we have been able to extend our long and mutually beneficial partnership with Simon. He is an inspiring and stimulating business partner and working with him closely over the last 10 years has been an absolute pleasure. With the launch of The X Factor in the US, we look forward to replicating the unprecedented success the show has had in the UK globally," said Ged Doherty, Chairman and CEO, Sony Music Entertainment UK.

Jessie J Performs On 'Ellen'
Jessie J is taking this US promo tour very seriously! The British rising star has been almost everywhere on US television promoting her debut CD "Who You Are" - After "The Today Show", "106th & Park", and "Jay Leno", it was the turn for a mini-concert at 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Friday - Jessie J impressed the audience with performances of her singles "Nobody's Perfect" and "Price Tag".
As usual, top notch stuff!! Her vocals are simply and unbelievably AMAZING. I also love how Jessie gives her 100% in each performance. The London native's debut album "Who You Are" was released earlier this week in the US and it's expected to enter the Billboard Top 200 chart next week within the Top 10 with estimated sales of 30-35k units. Hmmm, don't seem much, huh? Hopefully all this promo she's been doing help boost sales estimates somewhat. C'mon lazy fans in the states! Go get 'Who You Are'.
